About the Institute

Institute History

The Graduate Institute of Information Management was established in August 2001 as the first graduate institute founded after National Taipei University’s restructuring. It is affiliated with the College of Business and operates as an independent graduate program without an undergraduate department. Despite this, the institute fully integrates the resources of other departments within the College of Business, achieving excellence in both teaching and research, supported by a well-organized administrative structure and strong faculty-student interaction.

Distinctive Features

The institute is dedicated to cultivating professionals and researchers needed in the information society and digital enterprises. Its development focuses on two major areas: information systems management and digital marketing. Centered around information technology, the curriculum incorporates fields such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, blockchain technology and applications, industry practices, digital marketing, online market research, and consumer behavior. The program encourages both academic research and practical application, aiming to develop students into key talents in the field of information management.
