Congratulations! Our Graduate Institute Student Wins Honorable Mention in the AI Smart Interdisciplinary Integration Creative Competition, AI and Sustainable Digital Applications Category

A student team from our Graduate Institute of Information Management once again demonstrated outstanding capabilities by applying AI to develop a powerful sustainable digital application. Their excellence has been recognized once again! 👏

Warm congratulations to the student team advised by Professor Min-Yuh Day: second-year master’s student Po-Chen Chen from the Graduate Institute of Information Management and fourth-year Accounting student Ting-Chi Wang. The team delivered an outstanding performance in the final round of the AI Smart Interdisciplinary Integration Creative Competition, held on June 4, 2026, and received an Honorable Mention in the “AI and Sustainable Digital Applications” category, along with a cash prize of NT$6,000! 🥇✨

💡 Participant Reflection: In the AI Era, Soft Skills Are the Key to Winning

Beyond technical expertise, the team also gained valuable insights throughout the competition preparation process.

In the age of AI, the team realized that the decisive factor is not merely technical ability, but rather:

1️⃣ Problem Selection: Identifying pain points that closely align with current trends, ensuring the topic’s timeliness and relevance.

2️⃣ Market Gap: Highlighting unique advantages through multidimensional competitor analysis.

3️⃣ Implementation Completeness: Using AI to simplify complexity, enhance user experience, and improve real-world applicability.

Project Showcase: Multi-Agent-Driven ESG Report Generation and Compliance Verification System

ESG reports are becoming increasingly important for companies, yet their preparation is often time-consuming and complex due to compliance requirements.

The system developed by the team leverages Multi-Agent technology to automate this complicated process seamlessly:

1️⃣ Data Upload: Upload internal ESG-related company documents.

2️⃣ Text Generation: AI Agents automatically draft the report content, which can also be edited manually.

3️⃣ Verification Check: Conduct compliance and validation checks.

4️⃣ Layout and Export: Support real-time editing and export the completed report as a PDF.

This system not only helps reduce costs, but also enables more accurate verification of whether the ESG report complies with relevant standards.

The participating students also shared a quote from Jensen Huang:

“In this AI era, what you study is not the most important thing. What matters is your ability to tell stories, your creativity, and your judgment.”

This perfectly reflects the core strengths of Information Management students: the integration of both technical expertise and soft skills.

Once again, congratulations to Professor Min-Yuh Day and the two outstanding students for bringing honor to our Institute! ✨🎉
